Accomodations:
The boat has a forest green hull, and is a converted fishing version of the US Navy Admiral’s Launch built by the Universal-Uniflite company, and it was originally used as a Navy tender. This is a day boat layout with a LOT of cockpit space for fishing. It’s a center helm with over head box, and extra seating to port and stbd of the helm. Down below there’s a vee-berth and porta-potti as well as overhead rod storage.
Equipment:
Recent Marlin tower with outriggers, recent fishing electronics, ample seating, 3-sided EZ2CY enclosure, and stand up Tuna battle station that swivels and telescopes, transom fish box, overhead electronics box, plenty of aft rocket launcher rod holders, and a porta-potti below.
Electronics:
Complete Raytheon package with a R21XX radar, Nav 398 GPS/plotter, V850 color sounder all in the overhead box, and Standard Horizon VHF.
Notes:
The current owner did the restoration and later did the repower with the 450 hp. 3208 Cat 4 years ago, and has put very little time on her since. The marlin tower and electronics were new in ’97, and the bottom had the West System applied in ’97 as well. This is a GREAT fishing platform and the boat would be perfect for anyone operating or starting up a charter business.
